The following is brought to you by the NSPL (National Score Predicting League) a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the only forum whereby we determine, through competition, who is the annual world NFL score predicting champion.

The NSPL Mission Statement

Our contest seeks to determine who the world champion of score predicting is using a system that tabulates wins and losses taking into account straight up picks, vs spread picks, and vs the over/under.

We limit our league to just those who try to predict the actual scores. This does two things. It limits the entrants to those who are serious enough about score predicting to those who actual pick scores. Picking scores generates results from a dozen accuracy categories. These dozen categories taken all together make the NSL (National Scorepredicting League) the premier proving ground for anyone making regular NFL score predictions.

The NSPL is modeled in many ways after the NFL. We have only 32 slots. they are organized into 2 conferences and 8 divisions. The play offs follow the NFL model.

And just like the NFL we want to think that our league represents the best of the competition.  To that end we include just about every source of regular score predicting out there that is freely accessible. here is a list of sources and where you can go to see their picks each week:

11/24/09 post: I have many to add still to make this list complete. It is on list of things to do.

Now should any of the above win the world championship there is a trophy verifying that a ' World ' Championship has been won that you can claim.

I'm sure that there won't be any challenges to that fact. There are no other contests like ours and no other league organized around the concepts spelled out  in the opening mission statement.  Even if there were a league like our created overnight they don't have our historical records going back to 1988-89 season.

In short this is it. This is the real deal. The world championship is on the line!!!!
