The farm league standings are important to the newcomers so here is a partial listing of the standings in terms of wins and losses. Remember each NFL game generates 3 games in the standings from the won/lost calculations derived from straight up +vs spread + total points
Since we have such a large number of players currently residng in the farm league, I've decided to organize the farm league into 32 divisions and organize it just as the pro league which is modeled after the NFL model. There will not however be back ups for each spot. I will examine different ways to round out vacancies and missed picks. My goal is to establish stable divisions where members who have missed a similar amount of picks are grouped together.
In some divisions one or more contenders will miss whole weeks along the way. I intend to make apples to apples comparisons for the purpose of sending the deserving parties to the end of the season play offs. The figures below DO NOT reflect any apples to apples comparisons which will be the overiding method in determining the true divisional leader of any particular division.
CBS has completely replaced Albert Breer in the pros from week 7 on. When you look at CBS in the pro league standings that figure is made up of Breer early on PLUS CBS from that point on. Records do not get retro-actively reposted. That is done to maintain an orderly competition. However, unless another source is available to fill the vacancy the CBS record from week to week still will be posted in the farm league. CBS will be allowed to participate ONLY as a starter in the pros with this exception: CBS still is allowed to block Lande from getting a farm league play off spot via divisional lead. Lande does not lead his division and doesn't qualify as a wild card either.
Conference A
WINNNG PERCENTAGE (SU+vs SPREAD+vs O/U)/NAME/WINS/LOSSES
.607 CBS Sports 258.5 167.5
.549 Dillon 234.0 192.0
.556 Lande 237.0 189.0
.508 Prisco 216.5 209.5
Accuscore Deshazier, Dillon, Cote, Greenberg, Sportales, and Lande are in the pro league as back ups. Their complete records will still be listed in the farm league. Technically, if you are trying to rise to the top to get out of the farm league, Lande and other pro back ups are no longer competing against you, as far as the week to week process of trying to get inserted as a back up. They have already advanced. This policy though is under review.
HOWEVER, At the end of the year there is another process where anyone who made the farm leaue play offs can still advance to the ranks of those who have a shot a a starting role in the pro league for the 2010-11 season. If you won the mid season play offs (coming) or if you made the final three at the end of the year play offs you are practically guaranteed a spot next year.
I intend to list all the back ups at the bottom. You don't have to pass these guys unless they reside in your division.
.569 Lazar 239.0 181.0
.567 NFL Edge 241.5 181.5
.522 Milhailides 222.5 203.5
.522 Maruzo 222.5 203.5
An apples to apples comparison will be made for anyone who missed games before they can be declared the winner of any division. Hopefully distortions created by some having missed some games will wash out with the long season. All in the following division missed week 8. Hogan missed more games.
.608 Deshazier 206.0 133.0 * same games as Hogan
.594 Hogan 201.5 137.5
.593 Deshazier 224.0 154.0 actual record
.584 Triplett 222.5 158.5
.552 Tatum 210.5 170.5
Deshazier awarded the #1 seed through apples to apples comparison against Hogan.
Hogan missed last week. All in division missed week 8.
.603 Greenberg 257.0 169.0
.562 Dudley 236.0 184.0
.556 Cote 235.0 188.0
.518 Farmer 219.0 204.0
Conference B--The mid season play offs for this conference will be delayed one week

.548 Campbell 97.0 80.0
.533 Cormier 89.5 78.5
.524 Chappell 22.0 20.0
.496 Williams 61.0 62.0
CBS is still listed in the farm league even though they have completely replaced Breer in the pro league. CBS may be phased out from the farm league , but for now it will occupy a spot simply as an obstacle to be overcome for a divisional title. |
