| 2008 PLAY OFF PARTICIPANTS |
I was hoping to solve the PC problems with the excel sheet but a quick solution
isn't going to happen.
So it's going to be pen and paper. I'll be posting updates every few hours giviong
most attention to those who made it and then to the ones who barely didn't make
the play offs and then the complete final standings after things have slowed down.
Conference A play off participants seem to be in order:
Wunderdog
Martinez/Breer
Cherner

Here is a quick sampling of what I call your box scores. 2-4-2-7 Boswell
0-5-1-7 Babineau

| PLAY OFF STATS |
emails to: nslcommish@hotmail.com
If you missed a game in the earlier rounds your stats will be posted as pro-rated at a later date.
Below is a list of Score Differential, Margin Differential, and Total Points Differential in cumulative aggregate points. The lower the number
the more accurate you have been. The figure at the far left is the total before the conference championship games. Then I added those games in one at a time to the right. The figure at the far right is the latest ... |
| Standings for Madden's Cup week 10 ...2008 |
If you miss two consecutive weeks you will lose your starting role to a benchwarmer.
On the one hand you will need to earn your starting role back and share whatever glory
your 'team' wins. On the other hand at least you're still in the contest. All of your stats will be tabulated under your name.
The divisions were set some time early in the season along with a system of assigning back ups to anyone who missed a week here and there. In general if you miss a week I insert another picker ... |
| 2007-8 SEASON STANDINGS WEEK 11 FOR MADDEN'S CUP |
The following standings are the through the late afternoon games in week 11 for purposes of determining who made the Madden's Cup Playoffs
There are 4 contestants in each division . If you only see details for three or two it is because the ones listed with no tabulation were trailing so bad that I decided to save those tabulations for when I have time. It may be postponed until the end of the season or if that person has a big week. I will review all the picks to see if anyone had a big week a ... |

Let's comment during the game. I'll check this evry once in a while.

| COMPLETE GAMES |
A complete game is a game where you picked the winning team and had the winning side of the spread. If you picked a tie and/or a pick equal to the spread you must hit that line exactly otherwise it won't qualify as a complete game.
Example: NE is favored by 3 with an over/under of 37. Unless NE wins by 3 you won't get a whole vs spread win. What about the over/under? that doesn't play a role here but move on to the
perfect games to ... |
| MARGIN DIFFERENTIAL |
Margin Differential measures how close your predicted margin of victory was to the outcome. You may have picked the losing team to win by 3 and still have a better margin diff then another person who say picked the winner to win by 20 but the team only won by a 5 points. In that case the lower diff was 8 as compared to 15 by the one who had picked the winning team.
The lower the diff the more accurate you are.
